IATA Distinguished Athetic Trainer Award
(Formerly the Outstanding Idaho Athletic Trainer Award)
The Distinguished Athletic Trainer Award is an honor that recognizes IATA members for their exceptional and unique contributions to the athletic training profession and association in the State of Idaho. This award reflects a dedication to the profession of athletic training in all areas. Candidates are not expected to have experience in all areas or levels, however this is a state award and contributions at the state and local level are necessary. These contributions can include, but are not limited to: leadership, advancement of the association and profession within the state, and exemplary performance within the state.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a minimum of five years as a certified member of the IATA in good standing
- Candidates must be licensed with the Idaho State BOM
- The current IATA president, secretary/treasurer and Awards Committee Chair are INELIGIBLE for nomination
- Hall of Fame members are ineligible for nomination
Nomination:
Any member in good standing of the NATA can nominate a candidate
