IATA President
The President of the Idaho Athletic Trainers Association is elected my the membership to serve a term of 2 years. The acting president then has the opportunity to serve a second 2 year term upon approval of the membership.
Brent Faure; MS, LAT; ATC
Brent Faure, or "Quincy", was the Head Athletic Trainer at Highland High School since 1984 - 2008? A graduate of Idaho State University (B.S., 1981; MPE 1984), Faure's primary responsibilities at Highland were to cover Varsity and Junior Varsity Football, Wrestling, and Baseball. He also assisted with Boys' and Girls' Soccer, Boys' Basketball and Track.
Faure is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) and the Idaho Athletic Trainers' Association (IATA). Prior to becoming the IATA Secretary/Treasurer, he served on the IATA Board of Directors. In 2005, Faure was recognized with the Northwest Athletic Trainers' Association Distinguished Service Award and also with the National Athletic Trainers' Association Service Award.
At Highland, Faure taught Introduction to the Health Professions and Sports Medicine classes. In 2006, Faure was selected as Highland High School's Teacher of the Year. In his spare time, you will find Quincy volunteering his time and expertise to numerous area youth sports organizations. His business, Tri Med Sports Medicine, has been catering to the medical needs of Idaho's amateur athletes since 1989.
