Brent Faure is currently the lead
instructor of the Gateway Medical Academy in Pocatello. The
Academy serves the academic interests of students at Century,
Pocatello and Highland High Schools who wish to pursue future
careers in medicine. Based at Century High School, Faure
teaches Sports Medicine, Emergency Room Technician and
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) courses. A graduate of Idaho State University,
Brent served as the head athletic trainer at Highland High
School for 27 years before resigning from that position in
2007. Brent also volunteers much of his time and expertise to
numerous area youth sports organizations including little
league football and high school rodeo through his business,
Tri Med Sports Medicine. To learn more about this service

Faure is an active member of the
National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) and the Idaho
Athletic Trainers' Association (IATA). In 2005, Faure was recognized with the Northwest
Athletic Trainers' Association Distinguished Service Award and
also with the National Athletic Trainers' Association Service
Award.
In his spare time, you will find
Brent, his wife Smitty, and their dog Scratch enjoying their
second residence in Island Park, Idaho.
